The food supplement JOINTACE Original (Chondroitin) of Vitabiotics contains 1000mg per two tablets 400mg glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate. Glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin sulfate are structural components of articular cartilage.
Glucosamine sulfate contributes to the mobility and flexibility of cartilage, ligaments and tendons, while reduces pain by reducing inflammation. Chondroitin sulfate is involved in maintaining the lubricating properties of fluids in the joints and prevents the action of enzymes that break down cartilage, contributing to the mobility, elasticity and flexibility of joints. It is also a powerful anti-inflammatory and thus reduces pain in the joints. It has been shown that glucosamine sulfate and chondroitin act synergistically to achieve the reconstruction and repair of cartilage.
