Varicose Veins

Varicose veins are swollen, twisted veins that typically appear on the legs and feet. They occur when the valves in the veins become weakened or damaged, preventing blood from flowing efficiently back to the heart. This causes blood to pool in the veins, which results in their enlarged and visible appearance.
